Do you have a wildlife question?

Q. What should I do if I find a Hedgehog?
A. Hedgehogs are in major decline and need all the help that they can get. This is especially the case over the winter months when they should be hibernating and are more vulnerable than usual. If you are concerned about a hedgehog then in the first instance seek advice from a specialist hedgehog rescue charity. In North Somerset this may be PRICKLES based in Cheddar and who rescue many hedgehogs throughout the year. CONTACT PRICKLES  or Tel: 07806 744 772

Q. I'm new to the area, where can I go to watch wildlife in North Somerset?

A. There are many wonderful locations and a huge variety of habitats where you can watch all sorts of wildlife within North Somerset. Any of our member groups will be able to help you with locations within their own villages. Getting involved in their work days will also provide opportunities to spot wildlife often close up.
